“Realtà specchio della dimensione interiore: nuove geografie dell’espressione” è il tema scelto per la terza edizione del Premio Internazionale "Don Sante" per l'Arte Contemporanea organizzato dalla Fondazione Mons. Sante Montanaro. Il tema rappresenta un invito a riflettere proprio sulla attualità, incoraggiando le artiste e gli artisti a esplorarne le dinamiche, tra interiorità ed esteriorità, tra il mondo soggettivo e realtà circostante, restituendo visioni aggiornate del contemporaneo, secondo i propri linguaggi personali.
L'arte, come strumento privilegiato, è in grado di catturare la complessità del presente - quell’errare incerto nella contemporaneità di cui si parlava nella prima edizione - trasformandone le ambivalenze in forme sensibili capaci di rivelare un senso, alla ricerca di bellezza, anzi, di “un raggio di bellezza” così come enunciato nella seconda edizione.
La parola geografia non è casuale. In continuità con le edizioni precedenti, il premio persegue l'obiettivo di tracciare nuove coordinate del contemporaneo, restituendo mappature dei percorsi artistici attuali, creando opportunità di riflessione e confronto per la comunità creativa, perché l’arte, in fondo è uno strumento che aiuta a orientarsi nel presente, l’arte è lo spazio della relazione.

“Reality as a Mirror of the Inner Dimension: New Geographies of Expression” is the theme chosen for the third edition of the International "Don Sante" Prize for Contemporary Art, organized by the Mons. Sante Montanaro Foundation. The theme serves as an invitation to reflect on the present, encouraging artists to explore its dynamics, balancing interiority and exteriority, the subjective world and the surrounding reality, and offering updated visions of the contemporary through their personal artistic languages.
Art, as a privileged tool, has the ability to capture the complexity of the present—an uncertain wandering through contemporaneity discussed in the first edition—transforming its ambivalences into tangible forms capable of revealing meaning, in the pursuit of beauty, or rather, “a ray of beauty,” as articulated in the second edition.
The word "geography" is not chosen by chance. In continuity with previous editions, the prize aims to trace new coordinates of the contemporary, mapping the pathways of current artistic expressions, and creating opportunities for reflection and dialogue within the creative community. After all, art is a tool that helps navigate the present; art is the space of connection.
